Fun Things You Can Make
Soap Clouds
¼ bar Ivory Soap
How to make it:
Place soap on paper towel
Microwave for 2 minutes or until soap stops expanding
Let soap cool for a minute or two
Warning: MUST BE IVORY SOAP. Other soaps will simply melt.
Play Dough
What you need:
2 cups flour
1 cup salt
1 Tbsp cooking oil
½ - 1 cup cold water
Food coloring
How to make it:
Combine flour and salt
Add water, food coloring and oil. Mix until all ingredients are combined
Knead well.
Magic Muck
This mysterious concoction turns from a liquid into a solid and back again.
What you need:
¾ cup cornstarch
1/8 cup water
5-7 drops food coloring
How to make it:
Mix water and food coloring
Together in a small bowl
Slowly add cornstarch to water and food coloring mixture.
DO NOT STIR!
Let mixture stand for 2-3 minutes
Pick up a handful and squeeze it until it forms a hard ball. Open your hand and magic muck will turn from a solid ball back to a liquid
Experiment by adding different proportions of water and cornstarch
Add a little glitter to make your magic muck sparkle
Clean Mud
What you need:
1/3 roll of toilet paper
1 bar of soap
Water
Food coloring
Scent (optional)
How to make it:
Grate soap with cheese grater
Rip toilet paper into small pieces
Put all in a bowl
Add water to desired consistency
